Day one: Wednesday

Afternoon

After landing in Brisbane, drop your bags off to your accommodation so you can settle in or drop your gear off before heading out to explore. Whether you love city views, luxury interior, resort style facilities or are looking for a convenient location, Brisbane’s accommodation has something for everyone. Close to lively nightlife and located right on the river is Crystalbrook Vincent, while the nearby Sage Hotel places you in the lush retail and lifestyle precinct, James Street. The newly renovated Marriott Brisbane is centrally located in The City or, opt for proximity to the Royal Queensland Gold Club with View Brisbane.

Why not discover The City before the action-packed weekend ahead? Enjoy a little retail therapy on Queen Street Mall, a unique open air center that is home to a wide range of stores, from luxury retailers, international brands and unique boutiques.

Just a street over from Queen Street Mall is the Museum of Brisbane, an arts and cultural experience showing unique exhibitions that feature local artist works. The gift shop is also the perfect spot to grab some Brisbane made and designed treasures to take home with you.

Not one for museums and galleries? Then head over to discover Brisbane’s newest precinct, Queen's Wharf. Make sure you take the time to venture up to the Sky Deck for unbeatable views and a luxurious atmosphere. Then walk across the new Neville Bonner Bridge to grab some dinner.

Evening

Less than 10 minutes from the bridge, you can find Fish Lane, a vibrant cultural and dining precinct. Walk through the laneway to experience street art as the scent of fresh and flavorful food takes you into one of the many bars and restaurants. Popular for their woodfired pizzas is Julius, East-Asian delights can be found at Southside and for the ice-cream lovers, Gelato Messina. While you are in the area, you can catch a show at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Day two: Thursday

Morning

As the first day of golf goes into full swing, you’ll need a filling breakfast and a strong coffee to start the day. Fortunately, Brisbane’s breakfast scene is a popular one, so the options are endless. Close to your accommodation may be the likes of Felix for Goodness, Harvey’s, or Picnic, just to name a few! They are guaranteed to fill you up before you make your way to the course!

Afternoon

If you are looking to get a bit of a break, why not make the most of Brisbane’s sunny weather? You can mix relaxation with a bit of action on a GoBoat. Pack your favourite snacks and few cold ones as you become your own captain for a few hours on the Brisbane River. Sound a bit too relaxing? Get an adrenaline hit with Jet Ski Tours Brisbane, as you zoom up and down the Brisbane River, passing the new bridges and incredible skyrises.

Evening

After a big day of golf, you may just want to relax and enjoy some delicious eats. City views from above or riverside views are just as beautiful as each other, and no matter what you prefer, Brisbane has a plethora of options for you. Brisbane rooftop dining is one of the best ways to see the whole of Brisbane and is beautiful as the sun goes down and the lights turn on. The cuisines found vary from Peruvian-Japanese fusion to Mediterranean and European, all with drinks to pair.

If you find yourself wanting to dine by the river, the Howard Smith Wharves precinct has a variety of casual bars to fancy dining all along the riverside for you to choose from. Or you can venture further along the river to find The City’s offerings such as Naldham House, Babylon, Supernormal and Customs House just to name a few.

Day three: Friday

Morning

Heading in early again, but not quite hungry enough for a big feed? Why not stop in at one of the many bakeries with a selection of pastries, tarts, and crumbly goodness that may be better than an Ace. If you’re taking the morning slow, then you can step it up and embark on a crumb crawl. Start in James Street where you will find Jocelyn’s Provisions, Sprout and Agnes Bakery, then venture in The City to indulge  at Doughcraft. After which you can take the City Cat to the other side of the river and find Christian Jacques Bakery in Kangaroo Point and then to Bulimba for Darvella Patisserie or South Bank for C’est Du Gateau. Whether you walk, run or scooter your way around, it’ll be a delicious morning to remember.

Afternoon

To get into some golf activity without having to play 18 holes yourself, grab your mates and try the Topracer Driving Range at Golf Central BNE  or a round of their mini golf. You can discover a classic and challenging putt putt course at Victoria Park Putt Putt or putt your way around the 12-hole rolling landscaped course at Brisbane Mini Golf Hillstone St Lucia. The series of slopes, hills and bends set amongst the landscaped gardens, as well as bridges, mountainous rocks, and tricky obstacles, will be sure to keep your round interesting. Try your shot at Holey Moley in Fortitude Valley or The City for the craziest round of mini golf you’ve ever played. Turning traditional putt putt into a multi-sensory tangle of unique and nostalgic holes and fully serviced bar with funhouse, karaoke and classic arcade games, you’re sure to have a lot of fun.

Evening

You needn’t venture too far from the golf course to enjoy dinner. Portside Wharf in Hamilton is home to a delicious mixture of casual and upmarket eateries fit for any size group. For the seafood lovers, FOSH has both a fish and chippery and restaurant option, recently refurbished Byblos offers Mediterranean tapas, while burgers, steaks and parmi’s can be discovered at Portside Social. If you are looking for dinner and entertainment, Eat Street is a dining experience like no other, with a large array of vendors serving global cuisine from colourful repurposed shipping containers, along with live entertainment and an electric atmosphere.
