HIROMI TANGO AT MUSEUM OF BRISBANE | 2 MAR – 11 AUG
Hiromi invites visitors to create decorative flowers and foliage fashioned from upcycled textiles and foraged local materials inspired by the abundant blooms and buds found across Brisbane. Museum-goers can participate in facilitated hands-on workshops or simply wander in and engage in self-guided art activities to contribute to the budding public project.

PINK FLOYD’S THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON PLANETARIUM EXPERIENCE | UNTIL 21 JUN
Now extended till the end of the year due to its popular demand, those who love Pink Floyd are able to enjoy the iconic album, The Dark Side of the Mood in an immersive experience at the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. Bringing this iconic album to life as you soar through the solar system made unique.

FRIDAY LATIN NIGHTS | EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT
Dance your way into the weekend with the vibrant rhythms of Friday Latin Nights. Located on Reddacliff Place on Queen Street, you will be able to see, hear and smell the event as the live music, social dances and food trucks await for your dance moves.

OPEN SEASON | 20 MAY – 31 JUL
It’s Open Season in Brisbane, now in its 4th year, the Tivoli Group return with its successful music and arts program. Running all through winter, there will be artists such as The Paper Kites, Ladyhawke, Pond and many more. Be quick to get tickets to your favourite artist before they sell out!

A FIERY WINTER WARMER | 4 MAY – ONGOING
Enjoy the magic of an evening under the stars with this cosy firepit and hamper experience at Sirromet Winery run every Saturday and Sunday. Lina Rooftop has transformed their rooftop space into a magical contrast of fire and ice to keep you cosy during the winter months. You can choose from the two private igloo packages or cosy up on a fire lounge and experience a flaming cocktail. SCENIC RIM EAT LOCAL MONTH | 1 – 30 JUN
Scenic Rim Eat Local Month is ready to fill cups and hearts throughout June as the country’s most authentic paddock-to-plate food and farming experience! LE FESTIVAL | 5 – 7 JUL 
This three-day French festival is bringing the best of France to the Southbank Parklands including live entertainment, cuisine, drinks, masterclasses and so much more! And, as the Paris Olympics quickly approaches, Le Festival celebrates with a ‘Mini-Olympiades’ activity for the kids to join and show off their talents. 

GRAZING GRAPE BY NIGHT | 19 JUL

GIGS & PICNICS | ONGOING
Get ready to soak up the vibrant atmosphere with the return of Gigs & Picnics - a free event nestled in the City Botanic Gardens. Join us from 12-4pm on the last Saturday of March to May and August to October for an unforgettable experience of free live music and delicious food trucks, thanks to City Sounds, Australia’s largest and longest-running free live music program.

REDS V WALES | 19 JUL 
Be there as the Queensland Reds take on Wales in the first International Tour Match for over 20 years! The grand revival of the rich history of Queensland sides facing international touring teams will be the first clash for the Reds against a major touring nation in two decades and not a game to be missed! 

THE GUZZLER ULTRA | 20 - 21 JUL
One of Brisbane’s biggest running events, the Guzzler Ultra gives participants four degrees of difficulty to attempt - a 10km, 21km, 52km or 105km running trail. No matter how crazy of a distance you choose, it will be a scenic route. From Mt Cootha through to reservoirs, lakes and lookouts, this trail is designed to take you on a journey through country and time.
