Obstacle Course Racing Community World Championships

21 - 22 MAY 2026

Ivory Rock

The OCR Community World Championships will return to Australia this year, with the global event set to take place at Ivory Rock Peaks Crossing, Queensland.

Recognised since its inception in 2014 as the premier independent world championship for Obstacle Course Racing, the OCR Community World Championships will welcome more than elite and amateur athletes from around the world, cementing its status as the sport's most inclusive and athlete-focused global event.

The Championships feature four race formats, catering to professionals, age-group competitors and teams alike. Qualification is required only for the 3K and 15K Pro divisions, ensuring accessibility for athletes at all levels.

There are also spectator passes for those who just want to enjoy a fun day out.

Highlights

- 80m Obstacle Course: You may have heard that the 80m obstacle event is being introduced to the 2028 Olympic Games as part of the Modern Pentathlon. This race is a nod to that format and makes for a fun spectator event, an all-out sprint focused on speed, precision and technique.

- 3K Championship: Built for speed, this short, explosive course features 15+ obstacles.

- 6K Relay Championships: Teams of three take on a four-leg, 6K course with 25+ obstacles.

-15K Championship: Established in 2014, this is the original independent Obstacle Course Racing World Championship. The world's best athletes will take on 40+ obstacles.
