Box Flat Memorial Service

A service to remember the coal miners who perished due to the explosion and fire in the Box Flat Colliery on 31 July 1972. This was a significant event for Ipswich and the Ipswich Historical Society retired miners invite relatives of those who died and all interested people to join them in this service. Morning tea is offered after the service concludes.
