Inspired by true events, the film had its World Premiere at the prestigious 39th Mar del Plata Film Festival (the only Class A accredited film festival in Latin America), was picked to represent Australia at the 69th Asia Pacific Film Festival in Macau recently and will be having its Australian premiere at the AACTA qualifying Gold Coast Film Festival on the 4th May.
Shot across Melbourne and Mexico, this heartfelt Australian story spotlights the remarkable journey of a mother determined to save her daughter's eyesight.
Inspired by true events and starring Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly), Tsu Shan Chambers (Suka), Eduardo Avila Sánchez and Kieu Chinh (The Joy Luck Club), premiere screenings generate awareness and funds for eye health advocacy and inclusion initiatives.
