Springtime on the Mountain is Tamborine Mountain's much-loved annual open gardens event, held each year on the last weekend of September. The event invites visitors to enjoy spring colour, fragrance and inspiration across a trail of private mountain gardens. Presented by the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club, the event showcases six delightful gardens generously opened to the public for three days. Guests can wander at their own pace through landscaped spaces featuring seasonal flowers, mature trees, productive garden areas, peaceful pathways and creative planting ideas, all set within the cool, green surrounds of Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.
Gardens are open each day. Tickets are available online for all gardens over the three days, or visitors may pay cash at any garden gate for individual gardens or all six gardens. A hop-on/hop-off bus is planned, operating between the gardens and North Tamborine. Whether a keen gardener, nature lover or weekend visitor, Springtime on the Mountain offers a relaxed way to experience Tamborine Mountain's garden culture, with cafés, restaurants, wineries and scenic attractions nearby.
