Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club's Adventure Angler Competition

15 - 24 MAY 2026

Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club

As part of Redland City Council's Redlands Coast Adventure Fest, the Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club is proud to present the Adventure Angler Competition — a free, family-friendly event open to everyone.

Running over 10 days, the competition invites anglers to target their biggest Flathead, Snapper, Bream and Whiting. Winners will be determined by the longest fish in each species category. In addition, two Mystery Fish prizes (one junior and one senior) will be randomly selected — meaning any fish entered could be a winner.

To participate, simply photograph your catch on any brag mat, clearly display the official codeword (released May 15), and email your entry to [email protected]

Major prize winners will be announced on May 24 at the Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club clubhouse during a special presentation. On the same day, visitors can also experience the club's regular member weigh-in, offering a great opportunity to see the club in action and learn more about what we do.

Whether you're a seasoned angler or just starting out, this is a fantastic way to get involved and enjoy the Redlands Coast.
