Songs and stories from the WWII and the Vietnam War

Commemorating 80 years since the end of WWII, Musical Melodies favourites tenor Roy Best and international soprano Alison Jones return to RPAC with their stunning salute to the ANZACs and Vietnam War Veterans, Spirit of the Anzac.

Best and Jones are joined by the ever-popular Chris McKenna, who will narrate and compere this fabulous musical performance, along with rising piano virtuoso William Schmidt.

Many great singers provided inspiration and encouragement with their songs during these times of conflict, including Dame Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters, Bob Dylan, Normie Rowe and many more, who will all be featured in this wonderful production. You can look forward to spectacular renditions of much-loved songs including White Cliffs of Dover, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Blowin' In The Wind, He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, Sun and Moon from Miss Saigon, and a stirring version of Bring Him Home from Les Misérables.

Packed with hit songs, stories, and indeed laughter, that came from WWII and the Vietnam War, this will be an uplifting and nostalgic morning not to be missed.

Celebrate the brave men and women who gave their lives in service of our country in this wonderful celebration of the Anzac spirit.
