Mental Health Week Concert

11 OCTOBER 2025

Redland Performing Arts Centre

Sing Sing Sing, Queensland's pioneering choir for people living with dementia and their carers, sings the soundtrack of love - inspiring connection, belonging and joy.

The world is full of love songs. It's pretty hard to find a song that's not inspired by love! People might have a laugh about it, even distance themselves from it, but the truth is they love singing about love. It reminds them of those they care about and helps connect them and to memories of them. And what better way to mark Queensland Mental Health Week and its 2025 theme: 'Connect for Mental Health' than joining the Bulimba and Redlands singers of Sing Sing Sing to sing and connect with love?

The choir will sing songs about friendship, children and partners, and have some fun with some quirky ones. Queensland Ballet Performance Project Presentation Continuing with the 'Connect for Mental Health' theme, the morning will also feature a performance by participants of the Queensland Ballet Performance Project, presented by Redland Performing Arts Centre and Queensland Ballet. Afterwards, guests are invited to join for morning tea.
