Redlands Coast Museum: Forging History - Blacksmith Exhibition - Adventurefest

15 - 24 MAY 2026

Redlands Coast Museum

Held alongside the Heritage Artisan Faire Workshops, the Museum's Blacksmith Exhibition will take centre stage during Redlands Coast AdventureFest and feature as part of the new Redlands Coast Gallery and Museum Hop.

Celebrating the art and heritage of blacksmithing, the exhibition showcases handcrafted works created by the Museum's volunteer blacksmiths in the onsite Blacksmith Shed. Decorative pieces including bells, hearts and poppies will be on display, with selected items available for purchase in the Museum Shop.
Live demonstrations every Thursday and Saturday offer visitors the chance to experience the forge in action and meet the artisans behind the craft. Two Beginners Blacksmith Workshops will also be held on 17 and 21 May, with limited places available.

During AdventureFest, glass artist Peter Kane will also present his striking fused glass creations, with works available for purchase.
An engaging celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and heritage for all ages.
