Join for a hands-on weaving experience where guests will craft stunning, custom earrings using naturally dyed raffia from Quandamooka ochre. This relaxed and welcoming session is a beautiful opportunity to connect with local culture, creativity, and community. What's Included? All materials provided. A starter piece to get going. Guidance on beginner weaving techniques.

The chance to create woven earrings to take home—a little piece of Quandamooka Country. The team can't wait to see all the mob there, have a yarn, and create together! Please note: RAG staff are not responsible for supervision—parents/carers must remain with children during the session. Art activities suitable for all ages.

This program is part of a three-year project of artist-led exhibitions and activations, collectively titled Create Exchange, supported by Haymans Electrical, Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and Redland Art Gallery | Redland City Council.
