School Holidays: Language of Paint – discover stories through colour, culture and creativity

Paint, explore, read and create together these school holidays in a vibrant, studio style space designed for curiosity, connection and joy.

Families will share moments of creativity through a collaborative painting experience, unwind together in a relaxed reading corner with language resources and feel inspired while watching short videos that reveal exhibiting artist Dean Biŋkin Tyson's creative process and cultural connections.

This free, two hour workshop is inspired by the exhibition Create Exchange: Painted Up and is led by Dean Biŋkin Tyson.

Designed for children and their carers, the guided session nurtures confidence, imagination and meaningful shared experiences through hands on making, conversation and discovery.
