Hand built bowls Pottery Workshop

Soak up the creative atmosphere of a working pottery studio and join the studio community of makers.

Work under the tutorage of artist Melissa to learn the techniques and tricks to creating in clay and to explore the different surface decoration options. Come along and hand build a very own bowl.

It can be a bee or bird feeder, a berry bowl, a plant hanger, a snack bowl - whatever the imagination desires! Guests will receive a mould to build a shallow dish upon and be shown techniques to bring the piece to life.

Working with a pale clay, guests will be able to choose from a selection of studio glaze colours that Melissa will finish the piece with after it has been biscuit fired. The workshop will run for 2 hours and is suitable for beginners through to advanced potters.
