Exhibition: My Soil Farsh: Iteration 3 (Place, as Guest) by Prita Tina Yeganeh

8 FEBRUARY - 22 MARCH 2026

Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland

My Soil Farsh is an ongoing project in community-building, and this is the third iteration. Grounded in the Iranian sensibility of Farsh (Persian carpets), as both actual and symbolic grounds for communal gathering, Prita Tina Yeganeh explores how traditional cultural objects can help women in the diaspora feel connected. My Soil Farsh فرش reimagines this ancient tradition as an evolving, participatory, ecological artwork that fosters togetherness and a sense of community.

Through an evolving and ongoing conversation with QUAMPI, Quandamooka Arts and Culture Centre, Yeganeh walks as a guest on Quandamooka Country and has observed the region's flora and fauna to inform the design of the Farsh for the Redlands.

For the first time in My Soil Farsh : Iteration 3 (Place, as Guest), Yeganeh offers the broader community a glimpse into the intimacies of the making of the Farsh uniting ancient and modern objects used in the soil preparation and printing of the Farsh video documentation of the process, and prints archiving the Farsh symbols.

Suitable for all ages. Free entry.
