Electric Vehicle Experience - Cleveland 2023

24 SEPTEMBER 2023

Redland Showgrounds - Norm Price Park

Around 100 electric vehicles of all makes and models will be on display at a free community event, being held at the Redland Showgrounds Cleveland, Sunday, 24 September from 10am to 1pm.

The popular event now in it's 3rd year , is being hosted by the non-profit Australian Electric Vehicle Association (Queensland branch), in conjunction with the Tesla Owners Club to help dispel the myth and mystery about owning and driving EV's. In other words simply sharing genuine first hand experience.

Owners and businesses will have on display the range of new models, production cars as well as conversions from petrol to electric motors, and be there to answer questions from visitors.

The hydrogen-powered Hyundai Nexo is also expected to be present, displayed by the Queensland Government, along with one of Transdev's solar powered buses from it's expanding electric fleet. Representatives present and always happy to discuss these technologies.

Visitors can also check out many EV related stalls featuring accessories and battery charging equipment, and attend a Q and A session held with owners at 11am on the Plaza area forecourt. Light refreshments and on-site parking will again be available.

Finally and most importantly, test rides are again being offered by owners so that visitors may experience first hand just how different (and better for that matter) EV travel can be.
