Birds, Botanica and Blue Glass

2 - 29 APRIL 2024

Redland Museum

April’s exhibition entitled Birds, Botanica and Blue Glass features the work of Bayside and Brisbane artists… Rhyl Henzell, Julie-Ann Barker and Jen Henzell.

Using very diverse styles and mediums, all three speak as one about the importance of preserving nature for future generations.

Rhyl, a multi-media artist has pieces in embellished eco-printing, watercolour, acrylics and gold leaf.

Julie-Ann uses acrylics and mediums on canvas to convey her love of the natural world and of the connections between people and nature.

Jen works with textiles, re-imagined, preloved items and paper cutout illustrations inspired by flora and fauna.
