Dating back to 1926, the QLD PGA Championship is one of the country’s most prestigious golf championships with past winners including Ian Baker Finch, Greg Norman, Peter Senior, Brad Kennedy, Ryan Fox, Michael Sim, Anthony Quayle and in 2023 Phoenix Campbell.

This coming October, the QLD PGA Championship will be played at the newly renovated Nudgee Golf Club. A AUD16 million redevelopment of the 36 hole facility is now complete with the course in which the QLD PGA Championship will be played on named 'Kurrai' in honor of the aboriginal term for 'Sunset'.

The QLD PGA Championship is widely known for its engagement in the community with activities relating to juniors, ladies, non golfers, golf club members and alike, forming part of a strategy to ensure the longevity of the game of golf Is positively impacted from the championship being played each year.
