Eagle Farm Racecourse is the venue for the 19 April premiere performance of Opera Queensland’s 2024 regional touring production 'Do We Need Another Hero?'
The show is a joyful celebration of songs about bravery and heroism. From pop to opera, country to classical, this live musical tribute features chart-topping anthems and unique mashups to have people dancing in their seats.
Timeless hits from artists like The Beatles, David Bowie, John Farnham and more are seamlessly intertwined with opera classics from composers like Beethoven and Bizet.
The creative minds behind Opera Queensland’s previous successful regional touring shows, 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' and 'Lady Sings the Maroons', are behind this new production, which showcases some of Queensland’s finest talent.
There are general admission tickets for the Eagle Farm performance and also a premium canape and beverage package to be enjoyed in the Champagne Bar with seating under the stars on the Members Lawn.
Gates open at 4.30pm with the show starting at 6pm sharp.
