Discover the captivating world of cyanotype, a historic camera-less photographic process that uses sunlight to create beautiful blue prints.
Join Brisbane-based photo-media artist Dr Renata Buziak for a hands-on workshop exploring this fascinating technique. Using plants and found objects, you'll experiment with light, composition and natural materials to create your own unique cyanotype artworks.
During this intimate two-hour workshop, you'll learn about the history of cyanotype and explore coating, developing and fixing techniques. You'll create three pieces to take home: a cyanotype print on paper, a print on cotton fabric and a botanical bookmark inspired by Sandgate's local character and heritage.
