Woodfordia is opening the gates for a relaxed day of connection, discovery and nature-based fun. Come and experience the site, enjoy the fresh air, meet new people, and spend time together in a truly unique local destination.

What's included on the day: Lake Gkula swimming (please bring swimmers, towel, and sun protection), lunch and snacks available at the General Store, lunchtime music program, board games, activities and community games self-guided bicycle tours of the site (suitable for all ages)

A few helpful notes for visitors: You are very welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy on site. To protect the wildlife and the experience for everyone, no domestic animals are permitted on site, with the exception of registered assistance animals.

About Woodfordia: This special place is home to Lake Gkula, the southern hemisphere's largest man-made lake, and a re-wilded, nature-rich site that supports an incredible diversity of wildlife and birdlife. It is also the home of the Woodford Folk Festival and a year-round calendar of community events.
