Threads – A Solo Exhibition by Lauren Roberts

Bribie Island's Obsidian Bide: Art Gallery and Studio will host Threads: a debut solo exhibition by emerging artist Lauren Roberts.

Lauren Roberts began publicly exhibiting in 2023 and has already been recognised with a Highly Commended Award at the 2025 Matthew Flinders Art Prize. Threads marks an exciting new chapter in her artistic career.

Roberts' practice is inspired by the organic lines and shifting rhythms of the natural world. Her work reflects the beauty of impermanence, guided by instinct, emotion, and the evolving interplay of materials.

The exhibition coincides with the Bribie Island Artist Trail and the annual Ladybug Parade offering visitors a rich cultural and community experience.

Visitors can meet the artist or join the free courtyard workshop space during the Brennan Park community market days.
