Queensland Murri Carnival

The Arthur Beetson Foundation Limited (the ABF) is an Indigenous owned benevolent organisation.

The ABF’s mission is to live the legacy of the late great Arthur Beeston by engaging the community to empower Indigenous Australians to better outcomes in health, education, sport, employment and business development.

The ABF through the Murri Rugby League Carnival has created a must attend Indigenous Rugby League event that showcases talented indigenous players Boys Under 18’s, 16’s, 14’s, Girls Under 17’s, 15’s, Men’s and Women’s from urban, regional and remote communities.

The 2023 Queensland Murri Carnival (QMC) will be held within Moreton Bay Regional Council during the September school holidays. The QMC is a smoke-free, alcohol-free and sugar-free event, requiring participants to have their 715 health checks up to date, adults enrolled to vote, while youngsters also need a 90 per cent attendance rates.
