The annual awards for the Pastel Society of Australia will be held at the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre.

The largest collection of pastel artwork in Australia will be on display and open to the public.
With over AUD15000 in prize money over 5 categories including portrait, landscape, still life, abstract, and the Alexandra awards this will be the largest exhibition for the Pastel Society of Australia in their 40 year history.

The awards will be announced at the opening event. All welcome.

Daily free demonstrations from by master pastellists. Seats are limited to get in early.

The national judge Janet Hayes will be conducting a one day workshop on the landscape including Bribie Island scenery plus an afternoon demonstration on the clothed figure. Details are on the Pastel society website.
