Discover Echoes of Nature, a free Bribie Island exhibition and drop-in workshop during the Nature Festival, exploring art, community, and connection with the natural world.
A captivating solo exhibition by mixed-media artist and art therapist Katrin Terton, presented at Obsidian Bide: Art Gallery & Studio, Bribie Island from 18 October to 18 November 2025.
Tracing a decade of creative practice, Terton's work combines natural fibres, found objects, and multisensory installations to explore cycles of resilience, renewal, and our deep connection with the environment. The exhibition invites reflection, contemplation, and dialogue through both visual and tactile experiences.
During the Bribie Island Nature Festival, visitors are invited to join a free drop-in creative workshop on Sunday 19 October. Expressions of Hope combines imaginative writing, intuitive drawing, and collaborative artmaking, encouraging participants of all ages and abilities to create together. The resulting collective artwork will continue to grow across the exhibition.
A unique cultural experience in the heart of Bribie Island, Echoes of Nature is perfect for day-trippers from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast seeking art, inspiration, and connection.
