Echoes of Nature – Exhibition and Free Creative Workshop

18 OCTOBER - 18 NOVEMBER 2025

Obsidian Bide Art Gallery and Studio

Discover Echoes of Nature, a free Bribie Island exhibition and drop-in workshop that opens during the Bribie Island Nature Festival, exploring art, community, and connection with the natural world.

A captivating solo exhibition by mixed-media artist and art therapist Katrin Terton, presented at Obsidian Bide: Art Gallery & Studio, Bribie Island.

Tracing a decade of creative practice, Terton's work combines natural fibres, found objects, and multisensory installations to explore cycles of resilience, renewal, and deep connection with the environment. The exhibition invites reflection, contemplation, and dialogue through both visual and tactile experiences.

During the Bribie Island Nature Festival, visitors are invited to join a free drop-in creative workshop. Expressions of Hope combines imaginative writing, intuitive drawing, and collaborative artmaking, encouraging participants of all ages and abilities to create together. The resulting collective artwork will continue to grow across the exhibition.

The Echoes of Nature workshop series has been proudly supported by City of Moreton Bay. The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and City of Moreton Bay Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland

A unique cultural experience in the heart of Bribie Island, Echoes of Nature is perfect for day-trippers from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast seeking art, inspiration, and connection.
