Everleigh Football Festival

Lace up your footy boots and gather family and friends for a day of football, food, festivities, and fireworks at the grand opening of the new $15 million Everleigh AFL oval on Saturday, November 18, from 5pm to 8pm at Ivory Parkway in Greenbank.

The free family event, by Everleigh developer Mirvac, will feature football matches with local teams followed by Auskick skills sessions run by AFL Queensland, for youngsters eager to take their first steps onto the field.

Players and spectators can also enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious food trucks offering an array of cuisines, kids' activities and competitions, with a dazzling fireworks finale after the sun goes down.

Mirvac General Manager, Residential Development Queensland, Warwick Bible, encouraged the community to help officially launch the new AFL oval, the first stage of Everleigh's planned expansive sporting and recreation precinct.

"We hope to see lots of faces joining in the fun of our Football Festival, with plenty on offer for those who love AFL or are simply looking for an affordable and entertaining family day out” he said.
