Shakes Fear & The Skeleton Gang (unplugged), Simon & The Colonel, Shotgun Sam

Shakes Fear and the Skeleton Gang have been on the scene since 2018. Though their origins remain shrouded in mystery, their 2021 debut album ‘Find Me a Grave, Man’ has attempted to fill in some of the gaps in their story and become a staple entry in the Horror Blues genre. For this special performance, Shakes and the Gang will be appearing as a quartet, performing some stripped back, alternate arrangements of their established songs, including a couple they thought they’d forgotten.

Simon & the Colonel play Early Electric Blues - the way blues sounded after it jumped a freight in Memphis, rolled off in Chicago and plugged into the juice at a South-Side basement bar - raw, righteous and ready to rumble.

They say Shotgun Sam was forged from an unholy amalgamation of Blues, Rock and Rockabilly and can be seen marauding the lands in his long black Cadillac convertible. Fire on wheels as he tears across the desert to perform to his baying crowds of bawlers, brawlers, ragtags and romantics. With a loaded six-string from a bygone era, scarred from shows and concerts past, like notches in the handle of an outlaws gun, he stands before you ready to play. Are you?
