It's 1940 and the Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard platoon has to guard a captured U-Boat sneering Captain and his crew. But fearless Captain Mainwaring incurs German displeasure when he orders the defiant prisoners to be served soggy fish and chips! When the Germans turn the tables on Mainwaring and try to escape, somehow Jones ends up with a grenade down his trousers.
