Jewellery Making workshop - Lost Wax Ring and Pendant

Learn the art of lost wax carving with Jess Blak in this hands-on workshop at the Ipswich Art Workshop.

You will hand carve your own ring or pendant designs from wax which will then be cast in solid silver, sanded, polished and finished before being returned to you as a finished piece of jewellery. In this class you will learn the basics of designing and sculpting a lost wax cast ring or pendant. You will create your own designs with the use of carving tools, fire and your hands! This is a great way to engage with materials I personally use to make many of my pieces.

If you want you can bring along some inspiration of what you would like to create as this will help me guide you towards the best results for you from the experience. This workshop is being held during SPARK Ipswich.
