Ipswich Thriving Seniors Mini Ekka Show

Relive the magic of the Ekka at this heartwarming Mini Ekka Show for Seniors at the Springfield Lakes Community Centre. Seniors are warmly invited to enjoy a relaxed, joy‑filled day celebrating everything we love about the Ekka — with a special focus on nostalgia, community and classic good times.

Expect all your favourites — traditional games, entertainment, food and drinks, showbags, and plenty of old‑fashioned fun. Best of all, this wonderful event is completely free for seniors to attend. You do not need to be a member of Ipswich Thriving Seniors to attend.

A highlight of the day is the vibrant Mini Ekka Showcase, celebrating the creativity and talents of local seniors. From painting and sewing to photography, baking, woodcraft and more, there's something for everyone — with prizes up for grabs across a range of categories.
