A day for all the family to enjoy seeing and hearing about the heritage of Ipswich.
Visitors will see the Cooneana Blacksmiths working as blacksmiths have for centuries to create and mend tools and machinery essential to life in years gone by.
There will be live music and old-time dances for the energetic and our favourite magician will be baffling everyone with his show.
For animal lovers there will be horses and goats and for the mechanically-minded some classic cars will be displayed.
The Spinners, Weavers, Fibre Artisans of Ipswich will welcome visitors to Brighton House and the Ipswich Genealogical Society will open Brigg House for those wanting to research their family history.
Vintage and veteran motorcycles will be on display, with a special ride for the little ones. The museum will be open as will Cooneana Homestead to enable visitors to feel connected to the past.
Melanie Rush from Picture Ipswich will give a presentation and all of the family will be able to ride the trackless train - very popular with young and old alike.
Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase from the Redbank Plains RSL. Tea and coffee will also be available.
