Irish Murphy's Brisbane

Welcome to Brisbane's most authentic Irish Pub, Irish Murphy's. Located on one of the oldest hotel sites in Brisbane, it is generally believed that the first hotel built on the site was the Dunmore Arms in 1865.

In 1888, it was redesigned and renamed as The Treasury Hotel and used to serve the new government treasury building across the street. On 29 October 1999, it was opened as the beloved Irish Murphy's that we know and love today.

Murphy's is Brisbane's true home of live music, with local musicians taking stage 7 days a week. Join them for an ice cold Guinness, on tap, and enjoy more traditional recipes than you can throw a shoe at.
