Peter and the Wolf

Join the courageous young scout Peter as he embarks on an adventure to the zoo in this much-loved ballet with a musical twist! In a family-friendly tale, Peter meets a collection of cheeky animal characters, including a rascally wolf, an unlucky duck, a clever cat, and a delicate bluebird. Each character moves in tune to a different musical instrument, composed by the renowned Sergei Prokofiev in 1936.

Created as an introduction to the orchestra for children, the lively production choreographed by Greg Horsman, with narration by Hugh Parker, sits within Queensland Ballet's hugely popular My First Ballet series, inspiring the littlest of ballet lovers.
