Following acclaimed runs across Europe and the UK, EONARIUM Enlightenment - the captivating, audiovisual, immersive experience - is making its Australian debut at St Stephen's Cathedral Brisbane this July!
Having already welcomed over 1.5 million visitors worldwide, EONARIUM Enlightenment is the brainchild of Zurich-based artist collective PROJEKTIL, in collaboration with the leading entertainment platform Fever. The experience will transform the heritage-listed St Stephen's Cathedral into a captivating feast for the senses with vibrant light projections, stunning visuals and alluring soundscapes, accompanied by the iconic melodies of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. PROJEKTIL has revitalised Vivaldi's original compositions by rearranging and recording them specifically to enhance the immersive experience, blending classical elements with a contemporary touch.
The 30-minute installation is divided into scenes, each designed to be enjoyed while lounging on comfortable cushioned chairs and bean bags, allowing guests to gaze up at the projections adorning every corner of the ceiling and walls. They can expect to be enveloped by spring, summer, autumn and winter like never before.
Guests will experience and encounter the natural world not just as scenery, but as sacred gifts — stirring awe, gratitude, and a renewed call to care for our common home. It's a fascinating experience that can be enjoyed by children, adults, friends and families alike.
