Ability Fest is the first of its kind, promoting access and inclusion within the music industry, proudly presented by the Dylan Alcott Foundation, Untitled Group & triple j.

A music festival designed for everyone to experience the magic of live music. A not-for-profit event, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Dylan Alcott Foundation to help empower young people with disability to achieve their ambitions.

Celebrating their fifth edition, Ability Fest is expanding to Meanjin/Brisbane and opening up to ages 16 and over to welcome more people than ever before!

Come along for a beautiful day of live music and community, all while knowing that your ticket purchase has made a significant impact on the lives of people in the community living with disability.

  • Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
  • Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.
  • Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.
  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
  • Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
  • Caters for people with high support needs who travel with a support person.
