01 Thurman is the indie rock project of Josh Bartlett. After playing in other bands around Meanjin and quietly chipping away on home demos, 01 Thurman is finally letting loose on a sound that dips into gazey post-punk as much as it does lo-fi pop. After dropping two tapes over the past twelve months, 01 Thurman has been turning heads in the Meanjin scene with a DIY ethos and songs that are earnest and urgent, built to shine through 01 Thurman Band’s mesmerising live show.
