Lost Worlds Cinema

Lost Worlds Cinema is an immersive outdoor film experience set in the heart of Brisbane's South Bank. Each summer, Rainforest Green is transformed into an atmospheric open-air cinema, where audiences watch adventure films surrounded by tropical plants, towering trees and warm evening air.

The Wild Summer program explores cinema's most thrilling jungle stories — from prehistoric creatures and dangerous expeditions to hidden worlds and legendary landscapes. A curated mix of beloved classics and contemporary favourites is screened in a setting that enhances every moment on screen.
Tucked behind the South Bank Piazza, Rainforest Green is a peaceful grassy retreat, popular with locals and visitors alike. It's an ideal place to unwind after a Rainforest Walk, enjoy a picnic, or settle in for a relaxed night of cinema under the stars.
