A free day of art, music and creativity for teens!

Express yourself at art making workshops, listen to live music by local performers and DJs, experience dazzling art and be inspired at pop-up talks with young people.

The Teens Festival is designed to be an inclusive, safe space that welcomes you to drop-in and have a good time. Low Sensory hours from 8.30 - 10.00am.

Are you aged 13 – 19 years? Gain free entry to the ‘eX de Medici: Beautiful Wickedness’ and ‘Michael Zavros: The Favourite’ exhibitions at GOMA, plus 10% off food at the GOMA Bistro during the Teens Festival.

  • Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
  • Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.
  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
  • Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
  • Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.
