Alternative Burns Supper with a Chocolate twist

The Chocolate Elements Team hosts an interactive and participative fun evening of Scottishness right here in the heart of South Brisbane's Cultural Centre.

Smart Casual, Scottish Attire or Tartan dress code.

Suitable age 10 plus.

Guests are piped in with welcome, Selkirk Grace, Haggis piped in, Address to the Haggis and Toast.

Attendees enjoy a delicious Charcuterie Board with a Chocolate twist and Non-Alcoholic Celtic concoction.

First entertainment features attendee participation in song or poem. Immortal Memory follows with second entertainment of attendee participation in song or poem.

Toast to the Lassies features attendee (male) participation and humorous highlight of any Burns Night comes in this toast, which is designed to praise the role of women in the world today. This should be done by selective quotation from Burns's works and should build towards a positive note. Particular reference to those present makes for a more meaningful toast.

Dessert includes Alternative Cranachan and Haggis Neeps and Tatties.

Final entertainment features attendee participation in song or poem. Toast to the Laddies has attendee (female) replies to the Laddies toast as revenge for the women present as they get their chance to reply. Host thanks all attending.

Auld Lang Syne closes proceedings with all singing a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
