Dive into SparkLab for an adults-only night of science. Explore the mysteries of the deep ocean with Dr Todd Bond.

Join Dr Todd, a leading marine ecologist, as he takes you on a journey to the deepest, darkest corners of the planet. He'll share his research on the incredible creatures that inhabit these extreme environments, from the hadal trenches to the abyssal plains, and explain why these ecosystems are vital for the health of the oceans.

Dr Todd's passion for the ocean is matched by his extensive research experience and dedication to science communication. As a Western Australia Science Ambassador and award-winning researcher, he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every presentation.

Science Night includes:

Dr Todd will explore the huge 1.8 metre diameter Science on a Sphere globe suspended from the ceiling of SparkLab, investigating datasets from the deepest, darkest corners of our planet.
Adults-only access to their interactive STEM space, SparkLab. This hands-on, selfie-friendly area - includes 40 interactive exhibits across three zones. Science Night is a rare opportunity to access the whole space with an adults-only audience.
Live science experiments.
DJ or music performance.
Drinks and light snacks available at the pop up bar for anyone seeking extra fizz or bubble.
