Reflections on the Infinite

Reflections on the Infinite is a new exhibition of watercolour paintings by artist Violetta Kurbanova, showing at Creative Room Art Space in West End, Brisbane.

Violetta works with watercolour for its unpredictability, the way pigment settles and granulates on wet paper into textures no brush could plan. In this collection, that quality becomes the subject itself. The paintings move through morning mist, light on water and open horizons, less a record of place than an attempt to hold its atmosphere.

The result is a body of work that asks to be looked at slowly, an invitation to slow down and experience the quiet, open spaces of the world.
