Soldier Keng and country boy Tong's idyllic romance is ruptured when Tong suddenly disappears, and news of a wild, livestock killing beast that can change it's shape starts making rounds across the villages, plunging viewers deep into a surreal and dreamy adventure through the Thai rainforests that finds itself intertwined with folklore from the region. Lauded Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul's stunningly shot drama took out the Cannes Jury Prize in 2004.
