Affordable Art Fair Brisbane
A four-day festival of art will take over the Brisbane Showgrounds from 9 – 12 May 2024, as Brisbane becomes the 15th city internationally to host an Affordable Art Fair.
The celebrated event has welcomed more than 3.1 million art lovers and sold a staggering 568,000 artworks from emerging and established artists since the first Fair in London in 1999.
Marking 25 years in 2024, more than 40 independent Australian galleries will take part in the inaugural Brisbane Fair with thousands of original works for sale, priced from $100 to $10,000.
The curated collection of participating galleries from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific spans all styles and genres, producing an eclectic and electrifying smorgasbord of paintings, sculptures, installations, photographic works and limited edition prints.
- Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
- Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
- Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
