SAMARA is a proud Mununjali woman making her mark in Meanjin (Brisbane) Australia, as a powerhouse singer-songwriter. She blends the raw energy of soul, pop, and blues while drawing inspiration from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, and Duffy just to name a few.
Music has always been a big part of Samara’s life, inspired by the sounds she grew up around and the experiences she’s been through herself. Her music focuses on real emotions like heartbreak, healing and learning to move forward, with the hope that listeners can connect to it in their own way. With more live performances alongside her full band and new music on the way, Samara is continuing to grow as an emerging artist.
