Brisbane based musician Rory Dollard explores the music of jazz manouche, reminiscent of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli. This solo performance fuses nostalgic melodies, inventive improvisations and rhythmic precision. Rory Dollard explores is an active performer with Cigany Weaver, Run Rabbit and Tango duo Diez Cuerdas.
He has had the privilege of performing at Woodford Folk Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, Brisbane Festival, MONA’s Dark Mofo Tasmania and various festivals across Australia.
