Nicole Audrey is a Brisbane-based singer-songwriter, pianist, and guitarist passionate about storytelling through song. Her music blends emotional honesty with vivid imagery, creating space for listeners to see themselves reflected in her stories. Her voice has drawn comparisons to Stevie Nicks, while her songwriting has been likened to Taylor Swift. Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Billie Eilish, Hozier, Mother Mother, and Lizzy McAlpine, Nicole began writing songs at eleven, later refining her craft through musical theatre, formal composition studies, and tertiary training. She holds a Diploma in Music (Classical Piano) from Douglas College and a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Capilano University, and works as a music therapist alongside her career as an artist.

Nicole released her self-titled debut EP in 2018, a three-track pop record with folk undertones produced by Anthony Fiddler (Fiddler Productions), followed by her 2020 electronic-infused single “Feel Something,” produced by Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Simple Plan, Victoria Duffield). Originally from Canada, she has been travelling and working across Australia since late 2022, living in Manly, NSW, Healesville, VIC, and now Brisbane, QLD. Each chapter has shaped her songwriting, and with new music releases on the horizon, she continues to transform these experiences into songs that offer a distinctly Canadian perspective on her Australian adventures.
