Malcolm Forbes 70th Birthday Party, a musical collaboration born in the late noughties, transcends continents. Despite one member in Brisbane, Australia, and the other in Berlin, Germany, they defy distance, weaving sonic tapestries through online collaboration. Their debut EP, released in 2021, featured five guest vocalists from Brisbane. The duo's 2023 European reunion led to a unique "pop-up party" tour in Berlin's train stations, crafting progressive house and techno beats on ironing boards adorned with synths. Their latest release, 'Made It Home,' inspired by Berlin's chaos, solidifies their commitment to pushing the boundaries of live techno, celebrating friendship, and capturing the eternal spirit of dance.
