City Sounds: Maisy Taylor, 7 October

Maisy Taylor is a singer/songwriter from Byron Bay, whose songs tell stories of human experience. Maisy experiments with jazz, folk and pop in her songwriting to create catchy hooks and complex melodies. Timber and Steel described the performance as,“the epitome of happiness on a grey day, with mischievous tones on lilting notes.” Now based in Brisbane, she studies music at QUT, where she continues to hone her skills as a performer and push the boundaries with her songwriting.
