Liam Higgins is an Australian singer-songwriter based in Brisbane, blending cinematic folk-pop with raw, heartfelt storytelling. His EP Through The Wild - recorded in the Austrian mountains with a string quartet from the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra - explores distance, belonging, and the roads that shape us, pairing intricate fingerpicking with sweeping, string-laden arrangements. With roots that run from pub gigs to The Bedford in London and The Bluebird Café in Nashville, his music lives in the tension between movement and home.
With Colourblind, Higgins steps into a brighter, more commercial sound - soaring, falsetto-laced hooks and big melodic production capturing the moment a relationship fractures. Produced by Juno winner Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Simple Plan), the single anchors his EP Love Is A Language. His work has featured on Netflix, national Australian television, and cable networks across Denmark, the US and UK, drawing praise from outlets including Notion, Earmilk and The Indie Grid.
