Born in Brisbane, Australia, Franz was brought up in a big family on the verdant rolling hills that sweep the countryside of Jinibara land at Ocean View, Dayboro. His original acoustic tunes are often melancholic folk-style songs performed on intricate fingerstyle guitar, pouring his heart and values into every lyric-centred composition.
Inspired by a lot of early folk, with classical guitar influence, his music seeks to express his values and emotion through poetry and song. Whether holed up in a room armed with pen and paper, or gigging and busking on the street, the transformative power of music continues to shape his life.
